Biography

- Bird Place:  Hải Ninh / Quảng Ninh Province  (North Vietnam.)

-Native Place:  Nghê An Province ( Central of Vietnam.)

- Starting writing in 1954

The important positions taken before 1975, under the regime of the Republic of Vietnam:

- Editor, general Secretary, Secretary of the daily newspapers, weekly and monthly magazines.

- Journalist Union Chaiman

-Chairman of the Cooperative Housing for the Journalist Union

-Founder of the Press Village which consisted of over 300 units reserved for writers, reporters, and artists

- Chaiman assistant of the Vietnamese Journalist Committee.

The author was accused of doing reactionary newspapers and was kept in the

Vietnamese Communist re-education camps for almost 10 years starting in April of 1976.

Under the protection of the following organisations: PEN CLUB, PRESS UNION, 

\VIETNAMESE AND INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS, POW FAMILY PROTECTIVE COMMITEE

that intervened in defence, he was released and resettled in the U>S. in May 1999.

He now lives in California
