            BE DAVISON HERRERA .    Born 1942, Hague Virginia, USA, Be Davison Herrera is a community worker, is a member  of the Sacramento Int' l Poetry.    Hall of Fame, is the founder of the Shriners Hospitals Poetry and Pride Programn.  Has poems in 19 anthologies, is the author of seven chapbooks.   And has performed her poems in seven USA,  Paris-France, and Amsterdam - The Netherlands.     Mrs Herrera taught for six years at the University of California, Davis.  As a sculptor, her work has been exhibited in seven US States, Canada, Mexico, El Slavador, France, China ( PRC ) , Italy,  India ( Bengal) , and Egypt.  Has a part in   FLOWERS OF LOVE Vol-2000, 3-2002, 4-2004 publihed by V.I.P.S  in English, French, Vietnamese.  Associate Editor, VIPS Press.      Lives now in Corvalis, Oregon, USA.


                                                   Meditation
                          OnThe Song Celestal

                          the tiny snail
                                       pokes  its horns out
                                       in early morning
                                       and looks about

                                       its shell is quite balanced
                                       as it seems to say
                                       " what adventures can happen
                                       on such a lovely day ?"  

                                       it peers over leaves
                                       and under budding plants
                                       looking for freash tender shoots,
                                       following trails of determined ants 

                                       gardeners tink of snail
                                       at pointless pest
                                       without regard for each
                                       creature ' s 
                                       place, safe in earth's own nest .

                                       Le Petit Escargot  

                                             Le petit escargot
                                        Présente ses deux cornes 
                                        Regardant je ne sais où
                                            Le matin il va tôt  

                                        Sa coquille balancée
                                                Veut dire 
                                         Où va-t-il maintenant
                                         En un jour bien aimé ?

                                         Rampant sur les feuilles  
                                         Et sous les plantes bourgeonnantes 
                                         Cherchant de tendres frai^ches pousses
                                         Suivant les fourmis dans leur chemin errantes

                                         Les jardiniers pensent à l' escargot 
                                               Sur la peste oiseuse
                                         En dépit de la plce de chaque créature
                                         Il trouve sain et sauf son nid très beau

                                                                 Con Ốc Sên Bé Nhỏ



                                                                         Ốc sên bé nhỏ ơi
                                                       Có 2 sừng tuyệt vời
                                                       Buổi sáng mơi còn lạnh
                                                       Sên bò ngắm cảnh trời

                                                        Vỏ sên đưa qua lại
                                                        Bé định bò đi đâu
                                                        Hỡi ốc sên bé nhỏ
                                                        Một ngày đẹp nhiệm mầu

                                                        Trên lá xanh tươi mát
                                                         Dưới nhánh nụ tầm xuân
                                                         Mầm non mềm ẻo lả
                                                         Ốc sên chẳng ngại ngần

                                                          Người làm vườn nhìn ốc
                                                          Nào có hại gì đâu
                                                          Chẳng màng cho chốn ở
                                                          Ốc an toàn bền lâu!
